Buffalo 1 Alarm- Seneca St

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0249 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Seneca St & Milton St.

Engine 35 went on location with smoke showing from the top floor of a 2 1/2 story house. B-46 reported fire on the 2nd floor of the vacant structure.

The fire was under control in 12 minutes.

Clarence Center Working Fire

Clarence Center Firefighters responded this morning at 1049 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Corrine Ln.

Clarence 9-1 went on location with smoke showing & further reported fire & smoke coming from the rear dryer vent in a 2 story house.

Clarence & Main-Transit (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene.

Lake Shore 2 Alarm Fire


Lake Shore Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1409 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Rogers Rd.

Police were on location reporting a fire on the exterior extending into a detached garage. Hamburg 9 went on location reporting a well involved garage. Lake View 9 assumed command and requested an additional alarm to the scene.

Hamburg, Lake View, Newton Abbott, Woodlawn, Eden (FAST), Evans Center (FAST), Big Tree, Scranton, Armor, & Highland Hose responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Windom & North Evans provided stand by companies in their stations.

Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1338 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Military Rd.

B-47 reported smoke in the area while responding & Ladder 13 went on location with heavy fire showing on the 1st floor of a 2 1/2 story dwelling.

The fire was under control in 23 minutes.

Engine 21 went on location with fire showing on the 2nd floor #1 side in a 2 1/2 story dwelling. B-44 reported the structure to be vacant and extension into the attic.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Vermont St

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0355 Hrs for a report of an auto fire in between 2 buildings on Vermont St.

Engine 37 went on location with an auto fire between 2 houses and requested the balance of the 1st alarm. B-44 reported the auto fully involved with extension to 2 houses.

The fire was under control in 33 minutes.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Humboldt Pkwy

Buffalo Firefighters responded this evening at 1934 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Humboldt Pkwy.

Engine 33 went on location with smoke showing from a 2 1/2 story house. B-56 reported heavy smoke conditions throughout the structure. Ladder 7 reported fire in the basement into the walls and extension to the 1st floor.

The fire was under control in 19 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0129 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Riley St.

Engine 21 went on location with heavy fire showing from the rear of a 2 1/2 story house. B-56 reported a fire on the exterior #3 side with extension inside. Rescue 1 reported fire on the 2nd floor. B-56 requested an additional Engine to the scene.

The fire was under control in 21 minutes.

East Amherst 9-2 went on location with smoke showing and declared a working fire in a 2 story house.

The fire was quickly knocked down and reported in a 2nd floor bedroom.

Depew Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of an unknown type fire behind a house on Bissell Ave.

Depew 9-5 went on location with a fire behind a house extending to the house & declared a working fire. Command reported extension into the wall.

Depew 9 went on location with 1 victim requiring extrication & minor injuries.

The victim was extricated in 5 minutes.

Scranton & Newton Abbott Firefighters responded yesterday morning for a report of a MVA on the I-90 @ MM 439.

Scranton 9-1 went on location reporting a car in the median. One victim had to be extricated due to heavy foliage & brush. Command further requested Mercy Flight to the scene. 

Lake View responded as a mutual aid company.

Cleveland Hill 9-1 went on location reporting a working fire on the 2nd floor. Interior crews reported no extension to the attic.

Pine Hill, U-Crest, & Forks (RIT) responded as mutual aid to the scene. Rescue filled in at Cleveland Hill.

Buffalo 2 Alarm- Carlton St

 Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2207 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Carlton St & Locust St.

Engine 3 went on location with fire showing in the rear of a house. B-43 reported fire on all floors & attic in a 2 1/2 story vacant house. B-56 reported heavy fire conditions on the 2nd floor & attic and ordered defensive operations. An additional 2 & 1 was requested to the scene for water relay. B-56 further reported the attic fully involved and fire through the roof & requested the balance of the 2nd alarm.

The fire was under control in 63 minutes.
