Buffalo 1+ Alarm- Grace St

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0543 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Grace St.

Engine 26 went on location with fire on the 2nd floor #2 side in a 2 1/2 story house. B-56 requested an additional Truck to the scene & further reported fire started on the 2nd floor and extended to all floors.

The fire was under control in 31 minutes.

Orchard Park District Firefighters responded yesterday evening at 1653 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Woodhaven Rd.

Orchard Park 9-1 went on location reporting a working fire. Command further reported fire on the 2nd floor in the 3-4 corner.

Orchard Park, Hillcrest, Windom, Scranton, & Newton Abbott (FAST) responded to the scene.

Lake Erie Beach Working Fire

Lake Erie Beach Firefighters responded early this morning for a report of a structure fire in a vacant building on Lake Shore Rd.

Police were on location reporting a fire in a vacant house. Lake Erie Beach 9 went on location reporting a working fire and further ordered defensive operations.

Evans Center, Brant, Farnham, Highland Hose, Angola, & Sunset Bay (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Eden, Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, North Evans, & Lake View provided fill in companies. Scranton 6 stood by in their hall.

Elma Working Fire

Elma Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1210 Hrs for a report of a residential structure fire on Clinton St.

Elma 9 went on location with smoke showing & further reported a fully involved basement fire in a 2 story house.

Blossom, Jamison Road, Marilla, Spring Brook, & Twin District (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. East Aurora filled in at Elma.

The fire was under control in 33 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded this morning at 1115 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Worchester St.

Engine 33 went on location with smoke showing from a 1 1/2 story occupied house & further reported fire in the lower rear. B-56 reported heavy smoke conditions & extension to the 2nd floor. Rescue 1 reported fire on the 2nd floor & in the cockloft.

The fire was placed under control in 30 minutes.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Rich St

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1625 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Rich St.

Engine 33 reported smoke showing enroute. B-43 went on location with heavy fire on the 1st floor extending to the 2nd floor & an exposure problem on the #3 side. B-56 reported the 2 story house fully involved & defensive operations.

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1556 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Potomac Ave.

Engine 19 went on location with fire showing on the 2nd floor of a 2 story house. B-44 reported the house occupied & no extension  past the 2nd floor.

The fire was under control in 14 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday morning at 1120 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on E Delavan Ave with multiple calls.

Engine 31 went on location with heavy smoke showing from the attic of a 2 1/2 story building. B-56 reported fire in the attic of the mixed use building.

The fire was under control in 18 minutes.

Buffalo 2 Alarm Fatal- Fillmore Ave

Buffalo Firefighters responded this morning at 0657 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Fillmore Ave & Woeppel St.

Engine 33 reported smoke showing from quarters. Dispatch notified B-43 of multiple phone calls and reports of children inside & requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene.

B-43 went on location with heavy fire in the rear of a 2 1/2 story house & crews making a push for the kids. B-56 ordered all crews out of the building and defensive operations for the fully involved  structure. B-56 requested the balance of the 2nd alarm and reported 1 civilian unaccounted for. One victim was located and pronounced at the scene.

Windom, Orchard Park, & Hillcrest Firefighters responded early this morning at 0454 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Big Tree Rd.

Police were on location reporting a fully involved structure. Orchard Park 9-1 went on location reporting heavy fire showing out all windows in a 1 story house.

Scranton & Newton Abbott (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Armor filled in at Orchard Park & Reserve filled in at Windom.

Buffalo 1+ Alarm- Chicago St

Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1433 Hrs to investigate smoke coming from a building at Ohio St & Chicago St.

B-43 went on location with smoke showing from a 4 story commercial building and requested the balance of the 1st alarm. Ladder 2 reported fire in the wall with some embers falling into the basement. B-43 requested an additional Truck to the scene.

The fire was under control in 36 minutes.

Cleveland Hill Working Fire

Cleveland Hill Firefighters responded early this morning for a report of an attic fire on Tudor Rd.

Cleveland Hill 9 & 9-2 went on location with smoke showing & further reported heavy smoke inside the residence and declared a working fire. Command further reported fire through the roof and defensive operations were ordered.

Pine Hill, Forks (RIT), U-Crest, & Rescue responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Hy-View filled in at Cleveland Hill.

Clarence Center Fatal 2 Alarm Fire

Clarence Center Firefighters resonded last night at 2051 Hrs for a report of a building fire on Goodrich Rd.

Clarence 9 went on location reporting some type of fire and forcing entry & further reported a possible attic fire. Command further reported fire on the 2nd floor of the 2 1/2 story building & requested the 2nd alarm to the scene. Two victims were found on the 2nd floor unresponsive & pronounced at the scene.

Clarence, Main Transit (FAST), Harris Hill, Getzville (FAST) & Newstead responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Swormville filled in at Clarence Center.

The fire was placed under control in 24 minutes.

Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Working Fire

Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Firefighters responded early this morning at 0635 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Milestrip Rd Ext.

CIRVFD C-3 went on location reporting a fully involved structure fire. Farnham 9 went on location with a 2 story vacant house fully involved, collapsing, and explosions.

Farnham, Brant, Lake Erie Beach, Lawtons, & Langford responded as mutual aid companies to the scene.

The fire was reported out in 29 minutes.

Collins Working Fire

Collins & Collins Center Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a garage fire in on Brown St.

Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Firefighters were on scene of a separate call and reported smoke showing. Collins 9-3 assumed command and reported a working fire.

Gowanda & Lawtons responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Langford filled in at Collins Center & Cattaraugus Indian Reservation filled in at Collins.

Buffalo Fatal 1+ Alarm- Genesee St

Buffalo Firefighters & Pine Hill Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1310 Hrs for a report of a garage fire with a burn victim at Genesee St & E End St.

B-43 requested an additional Engine & Truck to the scene. Engine 31 reported black smoke showing while enroute & Pine Hill 9-1 went on location reporting an explosion & working fire. E31 went on location with a victim down on the ground and fire showing from the front of the 1 story garage. Ladder 14 requested the Ambulance to step it up to the scene & heavy fire throughout the structure. B-56 reported extension into the roof area & ordered defensive operations. The victim was pronounced at the hospital.

The fire was under control in 70 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday morning at 0803 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Dearborn St with multiple phone calls.

Engine 26 went on location with smoke showing from a 1 1/2  story house. B-44 reported the house as vacant and smoke showing from all windows & fire showing from from the rear step down.

Buffalo Fatal 1 Alarm- Sirret St

Buffalo Firefighters respond last night at 2158 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Sirret St with a possible victim inside.

Engine 25 went on location with heavy fire showing on the 1st floor extending to the 2nd floor in a 1 1/2 story house. E25 further reported a victim found on the 1st floor & obvious DOA.

The fire was placed under control in 25 minutes.

City of Tonawanda Working Fire

City of Tonawanda Firefighters responded yesterday evening at 1735 Hrs for a report of a car fire near an auto repair shop on Fletcher St.

Car 6 went on location with heavy smoke from a car burning in the entrance of a auto shop and reported a working fire. Car 12 requested the primary mutual aid to the scene. Command further reported extension into the repair shop & defensive operations in place.

Sheridan Park (FAST), North Tonawanda, Grand Island, & Kenilworth responded to the scene as mutual aid companies. North Tonawanda & Brighton filled in at City of Tonawanda Headquarters.


The fire was placed under control in 2 hours 48 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2223 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Cambridge Ave.

Engine 33 went on location with fire on the 1st & 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story house. E33 further reported a possible victim trapped on the 2nd floor & B-56 requested an additional 1 & 1. Rescue 1 reported extension into the attic.

The fire was under control in 29 minutes.

Eggertsville Firefighters responded yesterday for a report of a dryer fire on Adrian Ave.

Eggertsville 9-2 went on location with smoke showing from a 1 1/2 story house & requested the automatic mutual aid & FAST Team to the scene. Command further reported the fire contained to the dryer.

Brighton Firefighters responded yesterday for a report of a fire in the wall on Brighton Rd.

Brighton Engine 6 went on location with smoke showing from a 1 story house & requested a FAST Team. Command reported a fire in the wall in the utility room. Interior crews reported extension into the attic.
