North Evans Working Fire

North Evans Firefighters responded early yesterday morning for a report of a rekindle fire on Derby Rd.

North Evans 10 went on location with heavy fire through the roof of a 1 story house. Command further reported a partial roof collapse & ordered defensive operations.

Highland Hose, Brant, & Eden (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Lake View & Evans Center provided fill in companies.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Goodyear Ave

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0311 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Goodyear Ave.

Engine 31 went on location with smoke showing from the 1st floor of a 1 1/2 story house. B-43 reprted heavy fire conditions on the 1st floor with exposure problems on the #2 & #4 sides.

The fire was under control in 26 minutes.

North Evans Firefighters responded early this morning at 0156 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Derby Rd.

Police were on location reporting a working fire with occupants in the house. Command reported fire in a 1 story house.

Highland Hose, Brant, & Eden (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies.

The fire was knocked down in about 16 minutes.

Hamburg Working Fire

Hamburg Firefighters responded last night at 1834 Hrs for a report of a structure fire with multiple phone calls on Chapel Glenn Dr.

Scranton 9 went on location with heavy smoke showing from a 2 story house & further reported fire going good on the 2nd floor with extension into the attic. Hamburg 9 assumed command, reported 2 exposure problems, the house fully involved and ordered defensive operations.

Scranton, Lake Shore, Armor, & Eden (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. North Boston filled in at Hamburg.

The fire was under control in 64 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded this evening at 1843 Hrs for a report of a shed fire on James St.

Ladder 5 went on location with heavy fire showing from an attached shed and requested the balance of the 1st alarm. B-43 requested an additional Engine to the scene due to difficult access to the fire.

Engine 31 went on location with light smoke showing from the 2nd floor. B-56 reported fire in a bedroom on the 2nd floor.
