Brighton Firefighters responded this morning for a report of a house fire with shots fired in the area on Fries Rd.
Police
were on location reporting a working fire, a person inside the house
with a gun, & requested Firefighters to stage. Brighton 9-1 assumed
command & reported to all arriving units this would be a defensive
operation. Brighton Ladder 1, Engine 5, & Engine 6 set up on
Mayfield Ave and put water on the house & garage fire.
Sheridan Park & Ellwood (FAST) were the mutual aid companies.
