Blasdell Firefighters responded this evening at 1705 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on South Park Ave.
Blasdell
9 went on location with fire & heavy smoke showing from the 1st
floor of a 2 1/2 multi family building. Command further reported
extension to the 2nd floor & attic, & ordered all crews out of
the building for defensive operations.
Big Tree, Newton Abbott,
Scranton, Orchard Park (FAST), Woodlawn, Lake Shore, Lake View, Hamburg,
Armor, Windom, Highland Hose, North Boston, & North Evans responded
as mutual aid companies.
The fire was under control in 2 hours 38 minutes.
