Lake View Firefighters responded early this morning for a report of a head on MVA in the area of Rte 5 & Buckskin Trail.
Lake
View 9 went on location reporting a 2 car MVA with extrication
required. Command requested mutual aid to the scene to assist in
extrication, requested Mercy Flight to the scene due to prolonged
extrication, a S.M.A.R.T Doctor to the scene, & requested Rte 5
closed in all directions.
Hamburg, Scranton, Highland Hose, &
Lake Shore responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. North Evans
Fire Police for traffic control & Woodlawn filled in at Lake Shore.
The victim was extricated in 94 minutes.
