Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2219 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Abbott Rd.
Engine
25 went on location with smoke showing from the rear of a 2 story house
& further reported fire on the 1st floor. B-56 reported fire on the
1st floor with extension to the 2nd floor & attic & requested
an additional 2 & 1 to the scene. B-56 further reported heavy fire
conditions throughout the structure, ordered all crews out for defensive
operations, & requested the balance of the 2nd alarm.
The fire was under control in 1 hour 44 minutes.
