Firefighters responded early this morning at 0032 Hrs for a report of a
structure fire on Woodlawn Ave with Police reporting people jumping out
windows.
Engine 21 went on location with fire showing from a 2
story building. Engine 33 requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene
& B-44 requested the balance of the 2nd alarm to the scene. B-56
reported heavy fire throughout the 2nd floor of the multi family
apartment building, ordered defensive operations, & an exposure
problem on the #3 side.
The fire was under control in 96 minutes.
