Newton Abbott Firefighters responded last night at 2004 Hrs for a report of a smoke coming from the residence on Milestrip Rd.
Newton Abbott 9 went on location reporting a working fire & further reported fire in the basement of the 1 1/2 story house.
Armor,
Big Tree, Blasdell, Scranton, Woodlawm, Windom, Hamburg Air Trailer,
& Orchard Park (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the
scene. Lake Shore filled in at Newton Abbott.
The fire was under control in 53 minutes.
