Firefighters & Pine Hill Firefighters responded this afternoon at
1310 Hrs for a report of a garage fire with a burn victim at Genesee St
& E End St.
B-43 requested an additional Engine & Truck
to the scene. Engine 31 reported black smoke showing while enroute &
Pine Hill 9-1 went on location reporting an explosion & working
fire. E31 went on location with a victim down on the ground and fire
showing from the front of the 1 story garage. Ladder 14 requested the
Ambulance to step it up to the scene & heavy fire throughout the
structure. B-56 reported extension into the roof area & ordered
defensive operations. The victim was pronounced at the hospital.
The fire was under control in 70 minutes.
