Firefighters responded this evening at 2055 Hrs to investigate an
activated commercial alarm at the Commodore Apartments on Delaware Ave.
B-44
was notified enroute of multiple phone calls and dispatch sent the
balance of the high rise assignment. Engine 37 went on location with
nothing visible from the exterior. Ladder 4 reported fire in a 4th floor
apartment & B-44 requested the 2nd alarm. Rescue 1 reported 1
victim located and extricated from the apartment. B-47 reported heavy
fire conditions on the 5th floor & B-56 requested the 3rd alarm.
The fire was under control in 55 minutes.
