Abbott Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1423 Hrs for a
report of a kitchen fire in an apartment on Teachers Ln.
Newton
Abbott 9-2 went on location with smoke showing and evacuating the
residents from the building. Newton Abbott 9 assumed command and
reported heavy smoke showing from the front door of a 12 unit apartment
building.
Armor, Big Tree, Windom, Scranton, Woodlawn, & Orchard Park (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene.
The fire was knocked down in 16 minutes.
