Buffalo 1+ Alarm- Fillmore Ave

Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1426 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Fillmore Ave.

B-46 went on location with fire coming out the #2 side 2nd floor in a 2 story vacant house. B-43 reported an exposure problem on the #4 side and requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene. B-56 reported fire on the 2nd floor with extension to the attic.

The fire was under control in 25 minutes.

Akron Firefighters responded early this morning at 0401 Hrs for a report of a machine on fire inside Winslow Machine on Morgan St.

Akron 9 went on location reporting a working fire and requested an Engine to the scene from Newstead & a F.A.S.T Team.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Masten Ave

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2306 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Masten Ave.

Ladder 6 went on location with heavy fire in the rear of a 2 1/2 story house & further reported the rear 2 1/2 story cottage involved. B-43 reported fire on the 2nd floor porch with extension inside the occupied house. B-56 reported fire in the attic.

The fire was under control in 20 minutes.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- E Delavan Ave

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 1741 Hrs for a report of an electrical fire on E Delavan Ave.

Engine 33 went on location with smoke showing and requested the balance of the 1st alarm. B-47 reported an electrical fire inside a closet. B-56 reported fire on the 1st floor of the 2 story occupied house with minor extension to the 2nd floor.

The fire was under control in 11 minutes.

Evans Center Working Fire

Evans Center Firefighters responded last night for a report of a structure fire on Alfred Ave.

Police were on location reporting fire in the basement of a house. Evans Center 9 reported a working fire.

Lake Erie Beach, Brant, Highland Hose, Scranton, & Eden (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Farnham & North Evans provided fill in companies.

Main Transit MVA

Main Transit Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon for a report of a MVA with injuries at Maple Rd & Hopkins Rd.

Getzville 9-1 went on location reporting a vehicle into a church and a tree with 1 victim down on the ground and requested a building inspector to the scene.

Buffalo 1+ Alarm- Maryland St

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2223 Hrs to investigate smoke in the area of Maryland St & West Ave.

Engine 2 reported heavy smoke in the area of 10th St & went on location with smoke showing from the attic of a 2 1/2 story house on Maryland St. E2 reported the house occupied with all occupants out of the 1st floor and possible victims on the 2nd floor. Rescue 1 reported fire in the 2nd floor cieling in the 3-4 corner & B-56 reported fire in the attic. Engine 2 declared a mayday for a Firefighter out of air and B-56 activated the FAST Team. B-56 requested an additional Engine to the scene for relief.

The fire was under control in 41 minutes.

Snyder Basement Fire

Snyder Firefighters responded early this morning at 0548 Hrs for a report of a smoke coming from the basement on Amherstdale Rd.

Snyder 9 went on location with heavy smoke in the basement, laying in a line, & requested a FAST Team to the scene.

Williamsville (FAST) responded mutual aid to the scene.

Lackawanna Firefighters responded early Saturday morning for a report of a structure fire in the area of Ingham Ave & Wilson St.

Engine 1 went on location reporting a fully involved house fire. Engine 3 reported fire in the rear and in the basement and requested a 2nd alarm for manpower.
The fire was under control in 40 minutes.

Buffalo 1+ Alarm- Broadway

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0328 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Broadway & Fox St.

B-43 reported smoke showing from quarters and went on location with heavy fire venting from the #2 side of a 2 1/2 story vacant house. B-43 further reported extension throughout the structure. B-56 ordered all companies out of the building for defensive operations using ladder pipes from Ladder 2 & Ladder 6. B-56 requested an additional Ladder to the scene as the FAST Team & an additional Engine for water supply.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2056 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Walden Ave & Sumner Pl.

Units were notified enroute of a possible victim inside the structure. Engine 31 went on location with fire showing from the rear #2 & #3 sides of a 2 1/2 story occupied house. B-56 reported fire in the rear step down with extension into the 1st & 2nd floors & all searches were negative.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0214 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Keystone St.

Engine 31 went on location with a 1 1/2 story house fully involved and further reported exposure problems on the #2 & #4 sides. B-43 requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene & ordered defensive operations on the main fire building. B-43 further reported both exposures involved and requested the balance of the 2nd alarm to the scene. B-56 requested an additional Engine to the scene for water supply.

The fire was under control in 57 minutes.

B-46 went on location with a possible rubbish fire on an enclosed porch in a 2 story house & requested an ambulance to the scene for a burn victim. B-56 reported minor extension into the structure.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2335 Hrs for a report of a MVA at Edison Ave & Easton St.

Engine 23 went on location with nothing showing from the MVA and was informed by dispatch to check 132 Edison Ave for a report of a fire called in by Police. E23 went on location reporting smoke showing and dispatch sent the balance of the 1st Alarm. B-47 reported fire on the 1st floor kitchen with no extension.

The fire was under control in 17 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded this morning at 0931 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Courtland Ave.

B-56 reported heavy smoke in the area & Engine 33 went on location with fire in the rear of a 1 1/2 story house. Rescue 1 reported fire in the attic & E33 reported fire in the wall on the #4 side.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0237 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Jersey St.

B-44 went on location with fire in a large house with an exposure problem on the #2 side and further reported the exposure involved. B-56 requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene. B-56 further reported heavy fire conditions in 2 queen victorian style houses and requested the balance of the 2nd alarm.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0307 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Selkirk St.

Engine 32 reported smoke showing enroute and went on location with fire on the #4 side exterior of the house running up the wall to the 2nd floor. B-56 reported fire on all floor and through the roof of the 2 1/2 story occupied house. An additional Ladder & 2 Engines for relief were requested to the scene.

Engine 37 went on location with heavy fire showing from the 1st & 2nd floor front of a 2 1/2 story vacant house. B-56 reported the main fire building fully involved with exposure problems on the #2 & #4 sides, & requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene. Command further reported a collapse of the main fire building.

Brighton Working Fire

Brighton Firefighters responded this morning for a report of a house fire with shots fired in the area on Fries Rd.

Police were on location reporting a working fire, a person inside the house with a gun, & requested Firefighters to stage. Brighton 9-1 assumed command & reported to all arriving units this would be a defensive operation. Brighton Ladder 1, Engine 5, & Engine 6 set up on Mayfield Ave and put water on the house & garage fire.

Sheridan Park & Ellwood (FAST) were the mutual aid companies.

Seneca Hose Working Fire

Seneca Hose Firefighters responded last night at 1936 Hrs for a report of a structure fire at the old Sunoco Gas Stationat Center Rd & Seneca St.

Seneca Hose Engine 1 went on location reporting a working fire. E1 further reported fire & smoke showing from the top of an 85x25 commercial building.

Vigilant, Winchester, & Newton Abbott (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Reserve filled in at Seneca Hose.

The fire was knocked down in 44 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2250 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Guernsey St.

Engine 26 went on location with heavy fire showing from the 1st floor extending to the 2nd floor in a 1 1/2 story vacant house. B-47 reported holes in the floors throughout the structure and B-56 ordered all crews out of the building for defensive operations. B-56 requested an additional 2 Engines & 1 Truck to the scene.

The fire was under control in 73 minutes.

Buffalo Fatal MVA

Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a MVA at Clinton St & Fillmore Ave.

Engine 32 & Ladder 5 went on location reporting a 2 car MVA with 1 car into a building. E32 further reported a victim trapped and requested Rescue 1 to the scene.

One victim was pronounced at a local hospital.
