Buffalo 1 Alarm- Fillmore Ave

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 1954 Hrs to investigate smoke coming from the rear of a vacant house on Fillmore Ave.

Engine 33 went on location reporting a working fire and requested the balance of the 1st alarm. E33 further reported fire on the 2nd floor rear of a 2 1/2 story house.

The fire was placed under control in 28 minutes.

East Amherst Working Fire

East Amherst Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1409 Hrs for a fire alarm activation on W Sable Ct.

East Amherst 9 went on location with smoke showing from the 2nd floor of a 1 1/2 story house & requested the automatic mutual aid to the scene. Command reported heavy fire in the rear of the house and requested additional equipment to the scene.

Swormville, Main Transit (FAST), Getzville, & Clarence Center responded as mutual aid companies.

Brighton Working Fire

Brighton Firefighters responded yesterday for a report of a possible bedroom fire on Tonawanda Creek Rd.

Brighton 9 went on location with fire showing from the B side of a 1 1/2 story house and requested a FAST Team to the scene. Command further reported fire in a 2nd floor bedroom.

Ellicott Creek responded as the FAST Team.

Scranton 3+ Alarm Fire

Scranton Firefighters responded yesterday morning at 1024 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Columbia St.

Scranton 9-1 went on location with heavy smoke showing from the roof of a 1 1/2 story cape house. Command reported fire from the roof, requested a 3rd alarm to standby at Station 2, further reported heavy fire conditions on the 2nd floor, and requested the 3rd alarm Engines to the scene.

Hamburg, Lake Shore, Big Tree, Newton Abbott, Orchard Park (FAST), Armor, Lake View, Woodlawn, Eden (FAST), Blasdell, & North Boston responded as mutual aid companies.

The fire was placed under control in 37 minutes.

Buffalo 1+ Alarm- Austin St

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1439 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Austin St & Tonawanda St.

Engine 19 went on location with fire on the 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story building & no exposure problems. B-47 reported the 2nd floor well involved & requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene. B-56 also requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene for relief.

The fire was placed under control in 30 minutes.

Snyder Working Fire

Snyder Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1315 Hrs for a report of a garage fire on Linwood Ave.

Snyder 9 went on location with fire showing from the #2 side of the deatched garage.

Eggertsville (FAST) responded as the mutual aid company to the scene.

Tonawanda 2 Alarm Fire

Town of Tonawanda & Kenmore Firefighters responded yesterday evening at 1753 Hrs to a District 1 Class 1 alarm of fire at FMC Corporation on Sawyer Ave.

Sheridan Park 9 went on location with reports of fire in a room with the fire door closed & sprinkler system activated. Command requested Brighton Hazmat to the scene as a precaution. Command also requested a 2nd alarm to the scene for manpower.

Ellwood, Brighton, Sheridan Park, River Road, Kenilworth, Kenmore, City of Tonawanda (FAST), Grand Island (FAST), Eggertsville, Ellicott Creek, North Bailey, & Snyder responded as mutual aid companies to the scene and/or fill in.

The fire was reported out in 1 hour 32 minutes.

Akron 2 Alarm Fire

Akron Firefighters responded early yesterday morning at 0112 Hrs for a report of a structure fire behind Perry Ice Cream on Morgan St. called in by Rapids 9.

Akron 9-3 went on location with heavy smoke & fire showing & requested a 2nd alarm. Command reported fire in a 2 story commercial structure and ordered all crews out for defensive operations.

Clarence Center (FAST), Clarence, Newstead, Harris Hill, Swormville, Pembroke, & Indian Falls responded as mutual aid companies to the scene and/or fill in.

The fire was placed under control in 2 hours 36 minutes.

Getzville Working Fire

Getzville Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1430 Hrs for a report of an auto fire next to a structure on Taverly Dr.

Getzville 9-1 went on location reporting the house involved an requested the automatic mutual aid to the scene. Command further reported fire in the garage area as well as the vehicle in a 2 story house.

East Amherst & Snyder (FAST) responded as the mutual aid companies.

Buffalo 2+ Alarm- Moselle St

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1425 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Moselle St.

Engine 31 reported smoke showing from quarters and went on location with fire showing from the 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story house. Ladder 14 reported fire through the roof of the main fire bulding with an exposure problem & requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene. B-43 requested the 2nd alarm & reported a collapse in the main fire building. Ladder 6 reported extension to the #2 side exposure. B-56 ordered all crews out of the #2 side exposure for defensive operations. B-56 requested an additional 4 Engines & 1 Truck for relief.

Lackawanna 2 Alarm Fire

Lackawanna Firefighters responded early this morning at 0203 Hrs for a report of a house fire on Jackson Ave.

Engine 3 went on location with heavy smoke showing from a 1 1/2 story house and requested the 2nd alarm to the scene.

The fire was under control in 43 minutes.

Holland Working Fire

Holland Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon for a report of an explosion in a garage on Olean Rd.

Holland Engine 1 went on location reporting a working structure fire, & Holland 9-1 requested the Wyoming County Tanker Task Forces 1 & 2 to the scene. Command reported fire in an attached garage with extension into the house.

South Wales, East Aurora, Chaffee-Sardinia, Strykersville, Sheldon, North Java, Harris Corners, & Wyoming Correctional Facility responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. West Falls & Wales Center provided stand by companies.

U-Crest Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1403 Hrs for a report of wires down and smoke coming from a house on Eastland Pkwy.

U-Crest Engine 1 went on location reporting smoke showing from a 1 story house. Interior crews reported heavy fire in the attic.

Pine Hill, Forks, Rescue, Cleveland Hill, & South Line (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Hy-View filled in at U-Crest.

Newstead 2 Alarm

Newstead Firefighters responded early this morning at 0345 Hrs for a report of a trailer fire in the Quarry Hill Estates off Main Rd.

Clarence 9-3 went on location reporting a fully involved mobile home & Newstead 9 requested the automatic mutual aid to the scene. Newstead 9 further requested the balance of the 2nd alarm to the scene.

Akron, Clarence Center (FAST), Clarence, Crittenden, Millgrove, & Pembroke responded as the mutual aid companies.

The fire was reported out in 51 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2241 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Walden Ave with a possible victim inside.

Engine 31 went on location with fire showing from the 2nd floor #4 side of a 2 1/2 story house. E31 further reported a possible victim trapped inside & the 2nd floor fully involved. B-56 requested an additional Ambulance to the scene & further reported the primary search was negative.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0057 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Koons Ave.

Engine 22 went on location with heavy fire showing from the rear  of a 2 1/2 story house. B-56 reported heavy fire conditions on all floors and ordered all crews out of the building for defensive operations.

Reserve 9-1 went on location reporting a house fully involved. Command further ordered defensive operations.
