Marilla Working Fire

Marilla Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a structure fire on 4 Rod Rd.

Marilla 9 went on location reporting a working fire. Command further reported heavy fire extension.

Cowlesville, Jamison Road (FAST), Alden, & Wales Center responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Town Line provided fill in at Marilla.

Elma ATV Accident

Elma Firefighters responded this morning at Hrs for a report of a 6 wheel vehicle off the road with entrapment on Clinton St called in by a Firefighter.

Elma 9 went on location reporting the victim extricated from under the vehicle & requested Mercy Flight to the scene.

Blossom & Jamison Road responded as mutual aid companies.

Buffalo Fatal MVA

Buffalo Firefighters responded this morning at 0820 Hrs for a report of a MVA at Delaware Ave & Great Arrow Ave.

Engine 38 went on location reporting a MVA with entrapment and requested a Chief & Rescue 1 to the scene. E38 further reported a vehicle into a building and the Collapse Team was dispatched to the scene.

The victim was extricated in 25 minutes and pronounced at the scene.

Williamsville Firefighters responded early this morning at 0630 Hrs for a report of a house fire on California Dr.

A Williamsville Firefighters went on loction reporting fire in a 2nd floor bedroom. Command reported the contained to the bedroom.

Snyder & Main-Transit (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene.

Buffalo 2 Alarm- Dewitt St

Buffalo Firefighters responded early yesterday morning at 0328 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Herkimer St & Helen St.

Engine 19 went on location with a fully involved 2 1/2 story house  and reported a roof collapse. B-44 reported a 2nd house involved and ordered defensive operations. Dispatch notified command of a report of a victim inside the exposure building & B-56 requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene. B-44 reported the exposure building fully involved and the balance of the 2nd alarm was requested to the scene.

Buffalo Firefighters responded late last night at 2349 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Starin Ave.

Ladder 7 went on location with heavy fire showing on the 1st floor. B-47 reported the 2 1/2 story house occupied and no exposure problems. B-56 reported fire in an enclosed front porch with extension inside the house.

Engine 37 went on location with fire showing from the 2nd floor in a 2 1/2 story house. B-44 reported the house vacant and an exposure problem on the #4 side.

Buffalo 1+ Alarm- W Ferry St

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0605 Hrs for a report of a basement fire on W Ferry St.

B-44 went on location with light smoke showing. Ladder 4 reported a garbage tote on fire on the exterior of the house with extension into the walls traveling upwards. B-56 requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene as a precaution.

The fire was placed under control in 44 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded Thursday evening at 1702 Hrs for a report of a structure fire with multiple phone calls on Hamburg St.

Ladder 5 reported smoke showing enroute & went on location with heavy fire conditions on the 1st floor of a 1 1/2 story house. B-43 reported an exposure problem and requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene.

Cleveland Hill Working Fire

Cleveland Hill Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1508 Hrs for a report of a structure fire with multiple phone calls.

Cleveland Hill 9 reported a header showing enroute & went on location reporting a working fire. Command further reported fire in the rear of the house.

U-Crest, Pine Hill, & Forks (RIT) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Rescue provided fill in at Cleveland Hill.

The fire was under control in 16 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2247 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Deshler St.

Engine 22 went on location with smoke showing & further reported fire in the rear of a 1 1/2 story house with possible extension to the rear step down. B-56 requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene to set up water relay. Rescue 1 reported the middle of the structure sagging & B-56 ordered an emergency evacuation for defensive operations.

The fire was under control in 85 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2335 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Townsend St.

Engine 3 went on location with smoke showing from a 1 1/2 story house. B-43 reported heavy smoke from the 2nd floor of the vacant building. B-56 further reported heavy fire conditions & defensive operations.

Williamsville MVA/People Trapped

Williamsville Firefighters responded this morning at 1056 Hrs for a report of a rollover MVA with possible entrapment at Wehrle Dr & Columbia Dr.

Amherst Police were on location reporting 2 victims requiring extrication in 2 seperate vehicles & Williamsville 9 requested Main-Transit Rescue 5 to the scene for extrication. Williamsville Rescue 5 went on location confirming a rollover MVA with extrication required.

The victims were extricated in 29 minutes.

Harris Hill Working Fire

Harris Hill Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1507 Hrs to investigate smoke coming from a building on Main St.

Harris Hill 9 went on location with smoke coming from the eaves & further reported a working fire. Command further reported a mattress fire in a 1 story 4 unit apartment building.

East Amherst responded as the FAST Team.

The fire was knocked down in 14 minutes.

Eggertsville Fatal MVA

Eggertsville Firefighters responded yesterday at 1608 Hrs for a report of a car into a tree at Homecrest Dr & Woodcrest Dr.

Eggertsville 9 went on location reporting a trauma code.

Twin City Ambulance transported 1 victim to a local hospital & was later pronounced.

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday at 1305 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Dupont St & Woodlawn Ave.

B-43 was notified of multiple calls reporting multiple houses involved & requested an additional 2 & 1. Engine 21 reported smoke showing from quarters & went on location with three 2 1/2 story houses involved and requested the balance of the 2nd alarm. B-43 went on location reporting 2 houses fully involved, a 3rd house involved, & defensive operations. B-56 reported an exposure problem on the #4 side and requested an additional 2 Engines & a 2nd FAST Team to the scene. B-43 reported the exposure involved and B-56 ordered all crews out of the exposure building.

The fire was under control in 75 minutes.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Carl St

Buffalo Firefighters responded this evening at 2212 Hrs for a report of a shooting victim on Carl St.

Dispatch notified E31 that Police were on location reporting a structure fire & the balance of the 1st alarm was dispatched. Engine 31 went on location with smoke showing from a 1 1/2 story house. B-43 reported fire on the 1st floor and a victim with a gunshot wound on the 2nd floor.

The fire was under control in 22 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded this evening at 2055 Hrs to investigate an activated commercial alarm at the Commodore Apartments on Delaware Ave.

B-44 was notified enroute of multiple phone calls and dispatch sent the balance of the high rise assignment. Engine 37 went on location with nothing visible from the exterior. Ladder 4 reported fire in a 4th floor apartment & B-44 requested the 2nd alarm. Rescue 1 reported 1 victim located and extricated from the apartment. B-47 reported heavy fire conditions on the 5th floor & B-56 requested the 3rd alarm.

The fire was under control in 55 minutes.

East Concord Firefighters responded this morning for a report of a school bus vs tractor trailer MVA in the area of Genesee Rd & Springville-Boston Rd.

East Concord 9-2 went on location with a school bus vs tractor trailer MVA, 1 victim pinned in the school bus, requested Springville 7 to the scene for extrication, & Mercy Flight to the scene. Command further reported heavy extrication would be required.

The victim was extricated in 68 minutes.
