Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0605 Hrs for a report of a basement fire on W Ferry St.

went on location with light smoke showing. Ladder 4 reported a garbage
tote on fire on the exterior of the house with extension into the walls
traveling upwards. B-56 requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene
as a precaution.
The fire was placed under control in 44 minutes.
