Buffalo 1 Alarm- Dearborn St

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0331 Hrs for a report of a garage fire.

Engine 26 went on location investigating smoke & further reported smoke from the eaves of a 1 story garage. B-44 reported the fire knocked down quickly and reduced the assignment to 2 & 2.

Buffalo 1+ Alarm- Moeller St

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday morning at 0843 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Warring Ave & Moeller St.

Rural/Metro was on location reporting a working fire. Ladder 14 went on location with heavy fire showing from a 1 1/2 story house. B-43 reorted an exposure problem and requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene. B-56 ordered an emergency evacuation of the building & defensive operations were put into place.

Town Line Working Fire

Town Line Firefighters responded last night for a report of a structure fire at Broadway & Schwartz Rd.

Town Line 9-1 went on location with a fully involved structure. Command requested mutual aid to the scene and Police for the homeowner. Command further reported propane tanks inside the residence placed by the homeowner.

Lancaster responded to the scene and also provided fill in at Town Line Station 1.

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday morning at 0738 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Watson St.

Ladder 5 went on location with smoke showing from an occupied house. B-43 reported fire on the 1st floor in a front bedroom venting out the #4 side. Ladder 5 further reported the inside full of debris.

The fire was under control in 20 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early yesterday morning at 0202 Hrs for a report of a structure fire in the area of Kosciuzsko St & Sycamore St.

B-43 went on location with a 1 1/2 story vacant house fully involved with no exposure problems and ordered defensive operations.

City of Tonawanda Working Fire

City of Tonawanda Firefighters responded this morning at 0857 Hrs for a report of a house fire on Coronet Dr.

Police were on location reporting heavy smoke in the area and command requested the primary mutual aid companies. City of Tonawanda Firefighter 67 reported fire in the rear of a 1 story house. Command reported the house well involved.

Brighton (FAST), Grand Island, & North Tonawanda Truck 1 responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. North Tonawanda Engine 4 filled in at City of Tonawanda Headquarters.

The fire was under control in 37 minutes.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Custer St

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0232 Hrs to investigate smoke from a possible dryer fire on Custer St.

Engine 34 went on location with smoke showing from the basement and B-47 requested the balance of the 1st alarm. E34 reported a small fire in the 2-3 corner of the basement. B-47 reported fire extending up the wall and requested animal control for a pit bull.

The fire was under control in 31 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2224 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Hopkins St.

Engine 25 went on location with heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story house. B-46 reported the dwelling fully involved and going to defensive operations. B-56 reported fire on all floors and heavy rubbish on the 2nd floor and attic.

Getzville Firefighters responded last night at 1916 Hrs for a report of a bedroom fire on Meadow Spring Ln.

Getzville 9 went on location reporting fire in an upstairs bedroom and reported a working fire.

Swormville & East Amherst (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies.

The fire was placed under control in 15 minutes.

Seneca Hose Working Fire

Seneca Hose Firefighters responded this evening for a report of a garage fire on Kelsey Dr.

Seneca Hose Fire Police 3 went on location reporting explosions in the garage. Seneca Hose 9-1 reported heavy smoke showing and declared a working garage fire.

Vigilant, Winchester, & Newton Abbott (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies.

The fire was under control in about 13 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early yesterday morning at 0505 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Wende St.

Engine 31 went on location with fire showing on the #2 side of a 2 1/2 story house & an exposure problem on the #2 side. B-43 requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene. B-43 reported heavy fire conditions in the rear with extension to the 2nd floor & B-56 ordered all companies out of the building for defensive operations.

Buffalo Fatal MVA

Buffalo Firefighters responded early yesterday morning at 0130 Hrs for a report of a MVA flipped over & on fire on the Rte 33 near the Rte 198 split.

B-47 was notified enroute that Rural/Metro was on location reporting the vehicle on fire with people trapped inside & requested the balance of the 1st alarm. Rescue 1 went on location with a car upside down & fully involved. B-56 reported 1 fatality at the scene.

Union Working Fire

Union Firefighters responded early this morning at 0328 Hrs for a report of a garage fire on Orchard Ave.

Police were on location reporting small explosions & exposure problems. Union 9 went on location with a 2 car garage fully involved on the #3 side with an exposure problem on the #3 side.

Winchester, Vigilant, & Reserve (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene.

The fire was knocked down in 21 minutes.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Maple St

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday evening at 1908 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Maple St.

B-56 reported heavy smoke shwoing from main St. Engine 21 went on location reporting heavy fire conditions in a 1 1/2 story occupied house. B-56 ordered all crews out for defensive operations.

The fire was under control in 47 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2255 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Mills St with multiple phone calls.

B-43 reported fire showing enroute and went on location with heavy fire in the rear 1st & 2nd floors with extension into the attic of a 2 1/2 story house. Engine 22 reported a 2nd structure in the rear involved. B-56 requested an additional Engine to the scene & ordered all companies out of the building for defensive operations.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0308 Hrs for a report of a structure fire with multiple phone calls.

B-44 went on location with nothing visible from the exterior & further reported heavy smoke on the 1st floor of a 2 story apartment building.  Engine 1 reported a small kitchen fire.

Seneca Hose Working Fire

Seneca Hose Firefighters responded today for a report of a structure fire on Burch Ave with a possible victim inside.

Winchester 9 went on location with smoke showing from the 2nd floor of a 2 story 20x80 house. Command further reported heavy fire showing on the # side of the structure. Interior crews reported heavy fire on the 1st floor rear. Command ordered all crews out of the building for defensive operations.

Winchester, Vigilant, Reserve, East Seneca, Bellevue, newton Abbott, South Line (FAST), & Orchard Park responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Windom, Spring Brook, & Doyle provided fill in companies.

Snyder Working Fire

Snyder Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon for a report of a building fire on Harlem Rd with multiple calls.

Snyder 9-2 went on location with fire on the #1 side of the building.

Eggertsville & Williamsville (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene.

The cause is listed as careless smoking and damages are estimated at $45,000.

Lake Erie Beach Garage Fire

Lake Erie Beach Firefighters responded Wednesday night at 2051 Hrs for a report of a garage fire called in by Lake Erie Beach 9.

Command reported a working 2 car garage fire.

Brant, Evans Center, & Farnham were the mutual aid companies.

The fire was quickly extinguished and all mutual aid companies were held in quarters.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Wyoming Ave

Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1349 Hrs for a report of an attic fire on Wyoming Ave.

Engine 33 went on location with smoke showing. Ladder 14 reported smoke showing from the attic of a 2 1/2 story house. B-43 reported fire in the attic.

The fire was under control in 16 minutes.

City of Tonawanda Firefighters responded this morning at 1125 Hrs for a report of a fire in the basement on Follette Ln.

Car 6 went on location with heavy black smoke on the 1st floor. Command reported fire in the basement and declared a working fire.

Hillcrest 9-2 reported fire in a buffer room and contained to the room.

Grand Island Fatal Fire

Grand Island Firefighters responded last night at 2057 Hrs for a report of an apartment fire with a person trapped on Baseline Rd.

Grand Island 9-5 went on location with smoke showing from the front door. Car 81 reported a working fire. Command reported heavy fire in a basement apartment in a 3 story apartment building. One victim was located and extricated & pronounced at the scene.

Sheridan Park & City of Tonawanda (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Brighton filled in at Grand Island Headquarters.

The fire was under control in about 25 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0415 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Grider St.

Engine 33 went on location with heavy fire in the rear of a 2 1/2 story house. E33 further reported a car fire extended into the vacant structure.

The fire was under control in 25 minutes.

Rapids Firefighters responded last night at 1016 Hrs for a report of a barn fire at Goodrich Rd & Sesh Rd.

Chiefs were notified enroute of multiple calls and a 2nd alarm was dispatched. Rapids 9-2 went on location reporting a fully involved barn.

Clarence Center & Swormville (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Akron, Newstead, South Lockport, & Wolcotsville provided stand by companies.

The fire was under control in 46 minutes.
