North Evans Working Fire

North Evans Firefighters responded this affternoon at 1239 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Versailles Rd.

North Evans 10 went on location with smoke showing from a 2 1/2 story house. Command further reported heavy fire in the attic breaking through the roof and defensive operations.

Highland Hose, Brant, Eden, Scranton, Evans Center, & Lake View responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Lake Erie Beach & Lake Shore provided fill in companies.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 1956 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Baitz Ave.

Engine 35 went on location with fire showing from a 1 1/2 story house. B-56 reported fire through the roof and ordered all companies out for defensive operations.

The fire was under control in 58 minutes.

Buffalo 1+ Alarm- Northumberland Ave

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 1823 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Northumberland Ave.

Engine 23 went on location with smoke showing from the #1 side of a 2 1/2 story house. E33 reported fire in the attic on the #3 side & B-47 reported a possible exposure problem on the #4 side and requested an additional 1 & 1 to the scene.

The fire was under control in 37 minutes.

Newstead 2 Alarm

Newstead Firefighters responded this morning at 1105 Hrs for a report of a chimney fire on Hiller Rd.

Newstead 9-4 went on location with heavy smoke showing from the roof and a full 2nd alarm was requested to the scene. Command reported heavy fire in the attic and defensive operations were ordered.

Akron, Clarence Center, Clarence, Swormville (FAST), Millgrove, Crittenden, Bowmansville, Pembroke, Corfu, Darien, & Indian Falls responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Town Line filled in at Millgrove, Harris Hill filled in Akron, Wolcotsville filled in at Newstead, & Alden was on standby in their hall.

Main Transit Firefighters responded last night at 1952 Hrs for a report of a fire alarm activation with a call back reporting a fire on Patton Pl.

Main Transit 9-2 went on location reporting a working kitchen fire and evacuating all residents.

Buffalo 1 Alarm- Montana Ave

Buffalo Firefighters resonded early this morning at 0328 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Montana Ave.

Engine 31 went on location with smoke showing from an ocuppied 2 1/2 story house. B-43 reported heavy smoke conditions, all occupants out of the structure, & no exposure problems. B-56 reported fire on the 1st floor and no extension.

The fire was under control in 16 minutes.

Kenmore Firefighters responded this evening at 2150 Hrs for a report of a kitchen fire on Nassau Ave.

Kenmore Engine 1 went on location with smoke & fire showing. Kenmore 9 reported fire showing on the B & C sides 1st floor with extension to the 2nd floor.

Kenilworth (FAST) & Ellwood responded as mutual aid companies. Brighton filled in at Kenmore.

The fire was under control in 20 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0433 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Grant St.

Engine 26 went on location with fire showing from a 3 story apartment building. E26 requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene & B-47 requested the 2nd alarm. E26 further reported heavy fire on the 1st floor in the rear.

The fire was under control in 28 minutes.

Holland Working Fire

Holland Firefighters responded this evening at 1705 Hrs for a reort of a structure fire on Olean Rd.

Holland 9 requested the Tanker Task Forces 1 & 4 to the scene. Holland 9-3 went on location with light smoke showing out the rear of a 2 story house & further reported fire in a rear addition.

Chaffee Sardinia (FAST), South Wales, East Aurora, Colden, East Concord, along with Sheldon & Strykersville from Wyoming County responded to the scene as mutual aid companies. Wales Center filled in at South Wales.

The fire was knocked down in 13 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1425 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Linwood Ave.

Engine 21 went on location with nothing showing from the exterior of a 2 1/2 story building. E21 further reported fire in basement from a torch to thaw ipes. B-56 reported fire in the floor joists between the basement and 1st floor.

The fire was under control in 19 minutes.

Grand Island Working Fire

Grand Island Firefighters responded this morning at 1037 Hrs for a report of heavy smoke in a residence on Melrose Rd.

Grand Island 9-4 went on location reporting heavy smoke showing from an attached garage to a 2 1/2 story house and declared a working fire. FP1 requested an ambulance to the scene. Interior crews further reported extension into the 2nd floor of the residence.

Sheridan Park & City of Tonawanda (FAST). Brighton filled in at Sheridan Park & Kenmore filled in at Grand Island Headquarters.

The fire was under control in 29 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded early this morning at 0329 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Gibson St.

Engine 3 went on location with fire in a 1 1/2 story house. B-43 reported heavy smoke conditions and further reported fire on the #4 side of the structure.

Main Transit Firefighters responded this morning at 1135 Hrs for a report of a structure fire with multiple calls on Berkley Rd.

Main Transit 9 went on location reporting a working fire & further reported an attached garage to a 1 story ranch house fully involved, an exposure problem,  & requested a full 2nd alarm to the scene.

Harris Hill, Williamsville, & Snyder (FAST) responded as mutual aid companies to the scene. Bowmansville filled in at Harris Hill, East Amherst filled in at Main-Transit, & Snyder filled in at Williamsville.

The fire was under control in 37 minutes.

Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday morning at 1045 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Main St.

Ladder 7 went on location with fire & smoke showing from the #2 side 2nd floor. B-56 reported a bedroom fire on the 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story house attached to a 2 story business.

The fire was under control in 8 minutes.

Union Firefighters responded last night for a report of a garage fire on Gregory Dr during a flood detail.

East Seneca 9-1 reported a working garage fire and requested an ambulance hot to the scene. One Firefighter from Millgrove was transported to the hospital by Rural/Metro.

Eden 2 Alarm Fire

Eden Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a structure fire with a possible victim trapped on Belknap Rd & a 2nd alarm was automatically dispatched.

Eden 9 went on location with smoke showing and reported a working fire. Command reported a fire in the bedroom & all occupants out of the structure.

East Eden, Boston, Hamburg, North Evans, Evans Center (FAST), Brant, Langford, & Lawtons responded as mutual aid companies.

Grand Island Chemical Fire

Grand Island Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon for a report of a chemical fire at Isle Chem on Long Rd.

Grand Island 9-1 went on location reporting a chemical fire in the hood and no water could be used. Command reported the fire contained to theexhaust hood with no extension.

Sheridan Park & Brighton Hazmat Team responded as mutual aid companies. City of Tonawanda filled in at Grand Island Headquarters.

Buffalo Firefighters responded this evening at 2006 Hrs for a report of a structure fire with multiple phone calls on E Amherst St.

Engine 23 went on location with a 1 1/2 story house fully involved with exposures on the #2 & #4 sides involved and requested the 2nd alarm to the scene. B-56 requested the 3rd alarm to the scene.

Buffalo Firefighters responded this morning at 1000 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Potomac Ave.

Engine 19 went on location with smoke showing from the 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story house & further reported fire on the 1st floor. B-44 reported a burn victim in front of the structure and requested an Ambulance to the scene. B-56 requested an additional Engine & Truck to the scene and reported extension into the attic.

Buffalo Firefighters responded last night at 2219 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Abbott Rd.

Engine 25 went on location with smoke showing from the rear of a 2 story house & further reported fire on the 1st floor. B-56 reported fire on the 1st floor with extension to the 2nd floor & attic & requested an additional 2 & 1 to the scene. B-56 further reported heavy fire conditions throughout the structure, ordered all crews out for defensive operations, & requested the balance of the 2nd alarm.

The fire was under control in 1 hour 44 minutes.

Marilla Firefighters responded this afternoon at 1210 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Bush Gardens.

Marilla Engine 1 reported heavy smoke showing enroute to the scene. Marilla 9-2 went on location with a mobile home fully involved with an exposure problem.

Alden, Cowlesville, Elma, Town Line, Jamison Road, & Blossom were the mutual aid companies to the scene and/or fill in.

The fire was reported knocked down in 35 minutes.

Lancaster 9-3 went on location reporting a working fire & requested a FAST Team to the scene. Lancaster 9 reported fire showing from the D side 2nd floor of the 2 story house.
