City
of Tonawanda Firefighters responded yesterday evening at 1735 Hrs for a
report of a car fire near an auto repair shop on Fletcher St.
Car
6 went on location with heavy smoke from a car burning in the entrance
of a auto shop and reported a working fire. Car 12 requested the primary
mutual aid to the scene. Command further reported extension into the
repair shop & defensive operations in place.
Sheridan Park
(FAST), North Tonawanda, Grand Island, & Kenilworth responded to the
scene as mutual aid companies. North Tonawanda & Brighton filled in
at City of Tonawanda Headquarters.
The fire was placed under control in 2 hours 48 minutes.
