Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon at 1503 Hrs for a report of an oven fire on Playter St.

went on location with nothing showing from the exterior and further
reported a gas line ruptured and fire on the 1st floor of a 2 1/2 story
house & requested the balance of the 1st alarm as a precaution. The
fire was quickly knocked down and the assignment was reduced to 2 &
1.
