Blasdell
Firefighters responded early this morning at 0258 Hrs to investigate an
unknown type fire at Samuel & Sons on Lake Ave.
Police were
on location reporting a fire in the warehouse. Blasdell 9 went on
location reporting a working fire, requested Tankers to the scene, &
requested the 3rd alarm mutual aid to the scene. Command further
reported a 150x100 warehouse fully involved through the roof with an
exposure problem & ordered defensive operations.
Big Tree,
Newton Abbott, Armor, Woodlawn, Scranton, Brant, Seneca Hose, Eden, Lake
Shore, Lake View, Hamburg, Orchard Park (FAST), Reserve (FAST), Evans
Center (FAST), North Evans, & Windom responded as mutual aid to the
scene and/or fill in companies.
The fire was under control in 2 hours 17 minutes.
